Litchfield 39, Annandale 36 Litchfield made 17 of 22 second-half free throws to overcome the Cardinals. The Dragons scored 3 baskets from the floor the last 18 minutes. It was a quirky second half, too. There was a 40 minute delay at the 13-minute mark when one of the officials suffered a lacerated lip in a collision with a Litchfield player. “They just couldn’t get the bleeding stopped,” explained Bill Huhner, the Litchfield coach. When the gusher finally was quelled, the official didn’t handle the ball anymore. Kjerstin Meyer scored 14 points to lead Litchfield, which shot under 20 percent (9 of 50), though averaging 42 percent on the season. Bailey Koch supplied 10 rebounds in a 35-20 boarding advantage.
